To all the veterans who defended our country through the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart! All of my brothers served at some point in the military and I am so proud of them. Also my daddy!

Surprising Melodies

Recently I asked God this: "God, I have always wanted to play a beautiful musical instrument or sing beautiful melodies to glorify and praise you. What instrument can I play now?" I waited and listened for a moment and God spoke by saying, "Your ink pen." Some of my writings are songs, some are poems that tell stories and they are all expressions of the heart inspired by God. My ink pen must write them as I get them from God and I am thankful for the gift of praise that He has given me. You may never hear my soul sing, but He does. I have always had music in me and it has always been to glorify the one who gave me this wonderful gift. Glory to my Lord and Savior, King Jesus!

I Am Sorry

My sympathy to all those who are affected in any way to the Aurora, CO shooting. What a tragedy! God will get you through this. He is the God of all comfort and will take away your fear and heartaches. My heart goes out to you and you will be in my prayers. Pat Rachal

Something to consider on Valentine's Day
Jesus is the epitome of Love. There is no greater love than His. Salvation is a blessing that we should not take for granted. Jesus died for our salvation and I am so thankful. "Lord, help me never to become arrogant or filled with so much pride that I forget Your supreme sacrifice for us. Thank you, Lord!"

GIVE THANKS

With November being Thanksgiving month, the following are good verses to meditate on. Sometimes we forget how thankful we should be. Give thanks daily for God's blessings and provisions. His greatest blessing is His only Son, Jesus, given for our forgiveness and victory over death, Hell and the grave. Thank God for His grace and eternal life with Him.

And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.  (Matthew 15:36)

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;  (Matthew 26:27)

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.  (Mark 8:6)

And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.  (Luke 17:16)

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.  (1 Corinthians 11:24)

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.  (2 Corinthians 2:14)

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;  (Ephesians 5:20)

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  (Colossians 1:12)

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.  (Colossians 3:17)
